SCORE is off to meet the wind energy world

30th May 2017

The key players in the offshore wind energy industry are heading to London next week from across the globe – and SCORE will be among them.

Offshore Wind Energy is the world’s biggest event of its kind. The ExCel centre by London‘s Victoria Dock will be brimming with 10,000 people including leading and emerging players in the sector.

So it is a great chance to blow SCORE’S trumpet about the work we do nurturing innovation to help companies and the wider industry.

We are really looking forward to being part of the East of England Energy Zone stand and getting to talk to delegates and visitors about our work over the three days (June 6th to 8th).

At its last meeting, the SCORE panel made another four provisional grants. It brings the total grant funds awarded over the past year to more than £750,000, supporting projects worth over £1.5m.

But we still have plenty of scope to help other companies hatch their ideas for innovative products and services generating efficiencies and cost savings in the sector.
OWE is the ideal chance to tell companies about how we can provide support through funding and expertise, helped by our national delivery partner ORE Catapult.

Its aims are to encourage the continued development of the growing industry by helping players in the energy sector to exchange ideas, and establish partnerships – which is on the same wavelength as SCORE’s aims.

It would be great to see you on the stand (S-L20). But if you cannot make it to OWE, just give us a call.
